JAPAN : Japan is often misinterpreted by those who have never been or know nothing about this curious culture. However, it is by far one of the most interesting subjects for photography I have seen so far. It's diversity, quirkiness, cuisine, lust for life and it's adamant scrutiny for self preservation is extraordinary. It's chaotic and beautiful all at the same time. You need to open your eyes and see Japan for what it is. Here's my own personal insight.

JAPAN

TOHOKU Japan : This is the town of Shichigahama. Very badly hit with Tsunami. We went to visit and provide a bbq (thank you New Zealand Beef and Lamb corp for feeding our friends) to the evacuation shelter "Shichigahama Concert Hall". Here are some of the pictures I took along the way... The second section of photos were taken at the Fukushima evacuation centre in Koriyama, Fukushima. "House of Cards" plays host to around 2,000 evacuees.
